In general, the best thing to do once you have porcelain veneers is to practice good dental hygiene as you normally would (or as you should have). Be sure to brush your teeth at least twice a day, after every meal if you can. Also be sure to floss every night (though after every meal is not a bad idea either). Most importantly, however, be sure to visit your dentist at least twice a year for your regular check-ups.

While Boston porcelain veneers are sturdy, you need to exercise caution and common sense just as you would with your regular teeth. Be sure not to bite on anything hard too abrupt as this can cause pain and damage to dental veneers as well as your natural teeth. Never use your teeth as a pair of scissors for opening plastic bags or a wrench for helping you remove pesky bottle caps. Just take care of your teeth and use your teeth as teeth.
