A well-known prosthodontist, James M. Stein, D.M.D., has an impressive resume of education, training, and experience. He’s committed to the advancement of the dentistry field, as evidenced by his teaching positions and history of worldwide lecturing and publishing. Dr. Stein has been providing quality dental care to patients for 30 years and now works alongside his son, Dr. Brett Stein, who also specializes in prosthodontics.
He has a solid background in complex cosmetic and restorative cases, such as those stemming from accidental or developmental trauma. Dr. Stein is sensitive to his patients’ needs and creates a warm, caring atmosphere where they feel comfortable.

Meet Dr. James M. Stein
Dr. Stein maintains a private practice in Boston, Massachusetts. He has been featured on TV, Radio, and print media for his work with single visit CAD/CAM ceramic crowns and veneers. He has published and lectured to professional societies and university groups internationally on Prosthodontics, Implantology, Cosmetics, and CAD/CAM technology.
Dr. Stein has completed extensive clinical, surgical, and technical training and accumulated a wealth of experience in treatment planning. He has been serving the Boston community through his private dental practice for 30 years. He utilizes PlanScan, 3 Shape Trios® 3-D Scanner, and the Cadent iTero® digital scanning technology during planning with a goal to enhance treatment accuracy. Dr. Stein is a member of the following organizations:

Meet Dr. Brett E. Stein
The office is excited to welcome Dr. Brett Stein as a full-time Prosthodontist. Dr. Stein began his academic journey at Bowdoin College, where he graduated with a B.A. in Biology. He ventured away from New England to the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, graduating with a D.M.D. and Honors in Clinical Dentistry. Missing the cold and unpredictable weather patterns, he returned to Boston to complete his 3-year Advanced Graduate Studies in Prosthodontics at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. While Chief Resident at Harvard, Dr. Stein also completed a Masters in Medical Science. He continues to stay involved in clinical research. Like his father, Dr. Stein is well-versed in the latest advances in digital technology. They push each other to keep learning.
